Residential FAQ

Q: I have some fog inside my window that won't go away, what is this?
A: This is called a "failed unit" and occurs on occasion with insulated glass units (IGU's). Failure happens when moisture enters the once-sealed dead air space between the pieces of glass. Failed units need to be replaced with a new IGU.

Q: I didn't see exactly what I wanted in the shower enclosure brochure. Do you design and install custom units?
A: At Burlington Glass, we specialize in custom glazing of all types, from shower enclosures to residential window walls to solariums.

Q: I need vinyl replacement windows but I've heard horror stories about window representatives who won't take no for an answer.
A: At Burlington Glass, our knowledgeable Window and Door Specialists are available to meet with you and discuss the process of vinyl window removal and replacement. With a wide variety of products to choose from, you only invest in the product that best suits your needs when you are ready.

Q: Who installs the vinyl replacement windows that I buy from Burlington Glass?
A: Unlike many other companies, Burlington Glass has their own installation teams. This assures our clientele of consistent, quality installations. Although we strive for perfection, if an issue or concern does arise it is dealt with promptly with total customer satisfaction being the ultimate goal.
